What is Intructional Technology?That's what's on our mind when we entered this particular class today. Without knowing any single thing or something to look forward to, we were pretty confused and lost all at the same time.But Alhamdulillah, Dr. Sharifah Sariah Syed Hassan entered and explained it impeccably.
So,what did she really explain?You may ask.First and foremost,she started off with Rasulullah's S.A.W (pbuh) first revelation he received from Malaikat Jibril.How he struggled to read for the very first time and the whole chronology.Basically, Rasulullah has inculcated 3 aspects of learning theories which are Behaviorism, Cognitivism and Constructivism.
And these 3 aspects of learning theories were also applied by the Western scholars where by the ~
1)Behaviorism was found by Skinner& Pavlov which is all about repetitious,reinforcement,stimulus + response.
2)Cognitivism evolved by Piaget & Bruner - touching on acquiring knowledge,solving problem and dealing with mental schemata.
3) Constructivism
